Legal disclosures
Shared information works best when we understand its limits. These disclosures help every neighbor use this resource thoughtfully. Last updated October 17, 2026.
Educational information, not professional advice
FWTT offers research summaries, public-record commentary and editorial screening tools for general information. Nothing here is medical, legal, engineering, hydrological, environmental or real-estate advice. No professional-client relationship is created by using this site or a tool. Seek a qualified professional for your circumstances.
Scores are not safety certifications
Home scores, CLEAR / NOT CLEAR labels, school proximity and transparency ratings and disclosure ratings are FWTT screening or editorial labels. They are not validated health-risk models, property certifications or measurements of pesticide exposure. A high score does not establish safety; a low score does not establish contamination. Proximity, elevation and assumed wind direction do not prove that chemicals reached a home, school or water supply.
Distances use mapped course points, not verified course boundaries. Coordinates, elevations, school assignments and enrollment figures may be incomplete, estimated or outdated. Groundwater flow, drainage connectivity, actual spraying and individual exposure are not measured. Unknown inputs and missing data limit results.
Public records, research and fair comment
We distinguish published records, attributed claims, scientific associations and editorial opinions. A reported detection does not by itself establish unlawful conduct, exposure or injury. A lawsuit is an allegation unless and until adjudicated. A study’s association is not proof of causation and may not apply to an individual or another region.
A transparency score describes qualifying disclosure documented in the reviewed record. “Not found” is not proof that a record does not exist or that an organization refused to disclose it. Nonprofit status, awards and conservation programs are not proof of pesticide safety. Information can change, and we do not guarantee completeness or accuracy.
Public submissions
Community submissions and parent reports are self-reported and unverified unless expressly corroborated. They do not represent verified findings about a person, club or school. Submit only information you believe is accurate, distinguish your observations from conclusions, and do not include another person’s private information. Parent-report enrollment attestations are self-attestations.
Water tests and third-party links
Laboratories, news publishers, geocoding services and payment services are independent third parties. A link is a resource, not a guarantee or professional endorsement. Prices, availability, certification and panel coverage can change. Confirm the laboratory’s approved analytes, methods, sample type and reporting limits before ordering. A “not detected” result applies only to the tested compounds at the stated reporting limits. Follow qualified health guidance for interpreting results.
Privacy and information handling
This site has no accounts and no log in. Founding 50 patch claims store your name, email and mailing address for patch fulfillment. Community requests store name, email, town, state and optional note. Contact-form messages store name, email and message. These records are not published on the site. Club-submission contact emails are not displayed publicly. Parent reports are displayed without parent identifiers, but avoid identifying yourself or others in free-text details.
Address tools send the entered address to OpenStreetMap Nominatim and selected coordinates to USGS for elevation estimates. FWTT does not save report addresses or results in its application tables; third-party services may retain requests under their own policies. Hosting and service providers process information needed to operate the site.
Corrections and limits
Source links and dated supporting records make corrections possible. Anyone may use Request your community to flag an issue with a source and explanation; do not submit medical records or sensitive personal details. We cannot promise immediate review. These notices explain limitations; they do not excuse knowingly false statements, eliminate statutory rights or guarantee legal protection.
